Department of Aerospace Studies
Students in the four-year program participate in four weeks of Field Training usually between their sophomore and junior years. Students applying for entry into the two-year program must successfully complete six weeks of Field Training prior to enrollment in Professional Officer Courses. More detailed information about the AFROTC program may be obtained by writing: AFROTC DET 810, Baylor University, Waco, TX 76798, or by visiting the Department of Aerospace Studies located at 1111 S. 7th Street, Waco, Texas. The telephone number is (254) 710-3513. Students who are not pursuing a career as an Aif Force officer may take the AERO 4301/4302 AFROTC classes for credit. These students will not register for the leadership laboratory portion.
