American Red Cross Lifeguard Training

Belton, Texas - The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Exercise and Sport Science department is offering one final Lifeguard Training class of the season at the indoor pool (Barbara Chaney Natatorium) in the Mayborn Campus Center.

The final session will be held Wednesday through Saturday, April 23 - 26. The times for the classes are as follows, April 23 - April 25, 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday, April 26, 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

The cost for the training is $160. Attendees must be 15 years of age or older and be able to swim 500 yards, utilizing both the breaststroke and freestyle. The instructor for the training is Dr. Cliffa Foster, EXSS chairperson and professor.
