Yerkes Voice Recital

Belton, Texas - UMHB Department of Music presents soprano Daena Yerkes in recital on Friday, April 18 at 7:30 pm in Hughes Recital Hall. She will be accompanied by pianist Matthew Crosby, assistant professor of music. The recital is free and open to the public and will feature songs and arias by Faure, Debussy, Mozart, Puccini, and Gounod.

A senior Music Education major, Yerkes is a member of One Voice, Concert Choir and appeared as "Mary" in the 2008 UMHB Easter Pageant. She has been active in Focus Bible Study, Intramural Sports, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and has served as treasurer for Student Music Educators National Conference. Yerkes is the voice student of Lisa Clement, associate professor of music.
