BB ranked 23rd in the country

Belton, TX - The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor baseball team held on to its point total, but still dropped one spot in this week's NCBWA/D3baseball.com Top 25 Poll. UMHB totaled 104 points for the second straight poll but fell one spot from 22nd to 23rd this week. Chapman is first with ten first-place votes and 566 total points. UMHB's American Southwest Conference rival U.T.-Tyler moved up to #8 in the country with one first-place vote and 415 total points. Defending ASC champion Texas Lutheran, U.T.-Dallas, University of the Ozarks and Hardin-Simmons are also receiving votes this week, to give the ASC six teams mentioned in the poll.
The UMHB baseball team is currently 11-2 on the season following a three-game series at University of the Ozarks last weekend. The Cru will return to action with a 2:00 PM home game against Southwestern University tomorrow at Red Murff Field. UMHB will then open ASC West Division play with a three-game home series against Sul Ross State this Friday and Saturday.
The NCBWA/D3baseball.com Top 25 Poll is voted on by a panel of 25 college baseball writers, sports information directors and other media members from across the country.
