BB ranked 20th in national poll

Belton, TX - The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor baseball team achieved its highest national ranking since moving to NCAA Division III with the Cru coming in at #20 in the country in this week's NCBWA/D3baseball.com Top 25 Poll. UMHB totaled 122 points to climb three spots from last week's #23 ranking. Chapman is first with 20 first-place votes and 617 total points. UMHB's American Southwest Conference rival U.T.-Tyler is ranked 4th in the country with one first-place vote and 520 total points. University of the Ozarks moved up seven spots to #17 in the country this week. U.T.-Dallas, McMurry University and Hardin-Simmons are also receiving votes to give the ASC six teams receiving mention in this week's poll.
The UMHB baseball team is currently 16-4 overall on the season and leads the ASC West Division with a 5-1 mark. The Cru will return to action with a 2:00 PM home game against McMurry University tomorrow to open a three-game ASC West Division series.
The NCBWA/D3baseball.com Top 25 Poll is voted on by a panel of 25 college baseball writers, sports information directors and other media members from across the country.
