BB ranked 20th in ABCA Top 30 Poll

Belton, TX - The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor baseball team has joined the Top 20 in the American Baseball Coaches Association/Collegiate Baseball Division III National Poll for the first time in the program's history. The Cru is ranked 20th in the ABCA poll this week with 81 total points and UMHB is the highest ranked American Southwest Conference Team ranked in this week's poll. The Cru is joined by 23rd ranked U.T.-Tyler (67 points) and 30th-ranked University of the Ozarks (28 points). Chapman (CA) University is a unanimous choice for #1 in this week's poll with eight first-place votes and 240 total points.

UMHB is also ranked 21st in the nation in this week's D3baseball.com/NCBWA Top 25 Poll. This is the first time the Cru has been ranked in two national polls since UMHB moved to NCAA Division III.

The Cru is currently 25-7 on the season after sweeping a doubleheader at Trinity University last night. UMHB will return to action with a three-game ASC West Division series this weekend in Belton. The two teams will open the series with a 2:00 PM single game on Friday before closing out the weekend with a noon doubleheader on Saturday.
