Basketball teams place seven on Academic All-Conference Teams

Belton, TX - The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's and women's basketball teams combined to place seven players on the American Southwest Conference Academic All-Conference Team today. The Cru women had four players named and the UMHB men had three players named to the team.

Mallory McAdams is a sophomore guard and Exercise and Sport Science major from Robinson High School. Anna Raines is a sophomore guard and Nursing major from China Spring High School. Kellie Thomas is a sophomore forward and Mathematics major from New Braunfels High School. Kallie White is a sophomore forward and Biology major from Llano High School.

Kent Benedict is a sophomore guard and Social Studies major Brazoswood High School. J.T. Fletcher is a junior guard and Exercise and Sports Science major from Deer Park High School. Zane Johnston is a sophomore guard and Exercise and Sport Science major from Albany High School.

To be eligible for Academic All-Conference, a student-athlete must be a sophomore, junior or senior, be in at least the second academic year at their institution and carry a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or better.
