GOLF teams place five on Academic All-Conference Team

Belton, TX- The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's and women's golf teams combined to place five players on the American Southwest Conference Spring All-Conference Team, released today. To be eligible for the ASC Academic All-Conference Team, a player must be a sophomore, junior or senior and have attended the school for a full year. The student-athlete must also earn a letter and maintain at least a 3.00 cumulative GPA.

Jackson Chandler is a senior marketing major from Temple High School. Ryan Eastman is a senior Christian Ministry major from San Angelo Central High School. Shaun Felechner is a senior Marketing major from Lahainaluna High School in Lahaina, Hawaii. Garrison Nordt is a sophomore management major from Midway High School in Hewitt. Christi Williams is a sophomore sport management major from Snyder High School. This is the second Academic All-Conference honor for Eastman and Felechner. This is the first Academic All-Conference selection for the other three players.

The UMHB men's golf team won the ASC Championship and advanced to the NCAA Division III National Championships. The UMHB women finished second at the ASC Championship Tournament.
