MG wins ASC Sportsmanship Award

Belton, TX - The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's golf team is the winner of the American Southwest Conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee's Men's Golf Team Sportsmanship Award. The Cru men join the Lady Cru basketball team as ASC Sportsmanship Award winners this school year. The UMHB men also won the ASC Tournament and advanced to the NCAA Division III National Championships for the first time in the program's history this spring.

The ASC SAAC Team Sportsmanship Awards are in their first academic year. The awards honor the member institutions in each ASC championship sport that best display positive qualities of sportsmanship and fair play from its student-athletes, coaches and fans throughout the season. The Student-Athlete Advisory Committees from the conference's 15 member institutions vote on the recipients.
