MS places two on NSCAA/Adidas All-South Central Region Team

Belton, TX - The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's soccer team placed two players on the National Soccer Coaches Association of America/Adidas All-South Central Region Team. The Cru had one second team selection and one third team pick.
Brett Tasin, a senior defender from Georgetown High School, was selected to the NSCAA/Adidas All-South Central Region Second Team. Tasin was the top defender for a UMHB defense that posted eight shutouts and held opponents to a 0.93 goals against average. He also scored a goal, added an assist and posted three total points.
Jonathan Hernandez, a freshman forward from Belton High School, was named to the NSCAA/Adidas All-South Central Region Third Team. Hernandez led the Cru 10 goals and 21 total points. He also had an assist and posted a team-best four game-winning goals.
The UMHB men finished the 2007 season with an 11-7-1 overall record. The Cru went 10-2-1 in American Southwest Conference play and advanced to the ASC Championship Tournament in back-to-back seasons for the first time in school history.
