MTEN's Daniel Quinones claims Player of the Week honors

Belton, TX - University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's tennis player Daniel Quinones has been named American Southwest Conference West Division Men's Tennis Player of the Week for the week ending April 24th. Quinones, a senior from Crowley High School, went 2-0 at #2 singles and 2-0 at #1 doubles to help lead the UMHB men to pair of victories last week. He did not lose a set in those four matches and helped the Cru clinch the #2 seed from the West Division in this weekend's ASC Championship Tournament.

The Cru men finished the regular season with a 6-4 overall record and a 5-2 mark in ASC West Division play. UMHB will open ASC Tournament play with a 10:00 AM first round match against Mississippi College today in Abilene.
