TEN teams place four on ASC All-Conference, All-Division Teams

Belton, TX - The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's and women's tennis teams combined to place four players on the American Southwest Conference All-Conference and All-West Division Teams. The UMHB men had a pair of All-Conference and First Team All-West Division selections. The Cru's Chad Mann also took ASC West Division Newcomer of the Year honors. The UMHB women had a player earn All-Conference and First Team All-West Division.
Eric White and Daniel Quinones both earned All-Conference and First Team All-West Division honors for the UMHB men. White, a senior from Lampasas High School, was unbeaten at #1 singles in West Division play this season and went 15-4 overall at #1 singles on the year. Quinones was 12-7 at #2 singles for the Cru on the year and he lost just one match in West Division play. The two also teamed up to run the table at #1 doubles on the spring season. The two players posted a 24-2 overall record and won the ASC Individual Doubles championship and the ITA Southwest Regional Championship. White and Quinones also finished second in the nation in men's doubles at the ITA Small College National Championships last fall.
Chad Mann was voted ASC Newcomer of the Year. Mann, a junior from Roswell, New Mexico, went 11-8 in singles on the season and also teamed with Jeff Contreras to go 9-6 in doubles play.
Laina White represented the UMHB women on the ASC All-Conference Team and she also earned First Team All-West Division honors. White, a senior from Lorena High School, was 10-6 overall as UMHB's #1 singles player. She also posted an 8-3 mark at #2 doubles for the Lady Cru.
This is the second All-Conference and All-Division selection for both Eric and Laina White. Daniel Quinones is also making his second appearance on the All-West Division Team. This is the first All-West Division selection for Mann.
The UMHB men finished 6-5 overall and 5-2 in ASC West Division play this season. The Cru advanced to the ASC Championship Tournament before falling to Mississippi College in the first round. The UMHB women finished the spring season with a 4-7 overall record and a 4-3 mark in the ASC West Division.
