Frequently Asked Questions

  • 1.) Do you offer athletic scholarships?

No, UMHB competes in NCAA Division III, which is based on the philosophy of non-scholarship athletics. There is a variety of need based or academic scholarship assistance available on campus. For more information, visit UMHB's financial aid web site.

  • 2.) Do you hold tryouts for your athletic programs?

No, we do not hold tryouts. NCAA Division III regulations do not permit teams to hold tryouts. Contact the head coach of the sport you are interested in for more information about walking on or recruitment in their program.

  • 3.) What are your admissions standards for athletics?

The admissions standards for athletics are the same as for every prospective student of UMHB. Visit the UMHB's admissions department web site for more information.

  • 6.) How do I find out about summer athletic camps?

There will be a link to summer camp information added to our web site in late spring each year.
