"I am very excited about the way the season ended with us shooting our best round of the year," Cru head coach Darla Kirby said. "We set a goal to go out and shoot the best round of the day today and that's what we did. All of our girls really stepped up under some pressure today and played well and that should give us some momentum going into next year."
The UMHB women's golf team has now finished in first or second place at every ASC Championship Tournament. The tournament likely wraps up the spring season for the Cru women, who will have to hope for an at-large berth in the NCAA Division III National Championships.
