WTEN's Rebecca Everett named ASC Player of the Week

 Rebecca Everett - ASC West Division Women's Tennis Player of the Week

Belton, TX - University of Mary Hardin-Baylor tennis player Rebecca Everett has been named American Southwest Conference West Division Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the week ending March 18th. Everett, a freshman from Breckenridge High School, posted victories at both #1 singles and #1 doubles as the Cru women opened ASC West Division play with a 9-0 win over Sul Ross State. Everett won 6-4, 6-2 at #1 singles and then teamed with Elise Kunze for an 8-2 win at #1 doubles.

The Cru women are 2-1 overall and 1-0 in ASC West Division dual match play this spring. The UMHB women will return to action with an ASC West Division match at Concordia Texas next Wednesday in Austin.
