MS places three on Academic All-Conference Team

Belton, TX - The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's soccer team placed three players on the American Southwest Conference Fall Academic All-Conference Team released today. To be eligible for the ASC Academic All-Conference Teams, a player must be a sophomore, junior or senior, earn a letter and maintain at least a 3.00 cumulative GPA.
Mickey Kerr is a senior midfielder and accounting major from Belton High School. Brett Tasin is a senior defender and computer graphics design major from Georgetown High School. Tyler Wagner is a junior forward and biology major from Midway High School in Hewitt.
Tasin is a four-time ASC Academic All-Conference selection. Kerr is a three-time ASC Academic All-Conference pick and this is the second Academic All-Conference selection for Wagner.
The Cru finished the 2007 season with an 11-7-1 overall record and a 10-2-1 mark in ASC play. The UMHB men advanced to the ASC Championship Tournament in back-to-back seasons for the first time in the program's history.
