SB ranked 23rd in national poll

Belton, TX - The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor softball team is ranked 23rd in the country in this week's National Fastpitch Coaches Association's Division III Top 25 Poll. The Cru totaled 31 points to climb two spots from last week's #25 ranking. UMHB is ranked for the third straight poll and is one of three American Southwest Conference teams ranked in this week's Top 25 Poll. U.T.-Tyler was a unanimous pick for #1 with all eight first-place votes and 200 total points. Louisiana College is ranked #2 in the country with 181 total points.
The UMHB softball team is currently 15-5 on the season. The Cru will have this weekend off before returning to action with a four-game home series against Schreiner University on April 4th and 5th.
The NFCA Top 25 Poll is selected by a panel of eight head coaches. There is one head coach from each of the eight NCAA geographic regions.
