DEAN'S WELCOME

Dr. William D. M. Carrell, Ph.D.

On behalf of the faculty and staff of the College of Christian Studies at UMHB, I welcome you to our web site.  So many great things are happening in our college.  We have the privilege of teaching all UMHB students through our Old and New Testament Survey courses, and every year increasing numbers of students are choosing to major or minor in our fields of study.  Our college offers two degree programs with a total of nine different majors and concentrations, and we offer minors in five areas.  Our degree programs prepare students for advanced study in graduate schools or seminaries and for service in the local church or other ministry and missionary settings.  I hope that the information you find here will help you in your search for God's will regarding your place of service for Christ.
