Belton, Texas - Dr. Byron Weathersbee has been named Vice President for Student Life at the University of Mary HardDr. Weathersbeein-Baylor. Weathersbee begins his new role on August 1.

The Student Life Division supports UMHB's educational mission by promoting student development, enhancing the quality of the student experience and campus life, and assisting in the development of the whole student. The division is focused on enriching students' college experiences outside the classroom. As vice president, Dr. Weathersbee will lead the offices for spiritual life, residence life, campus activities, career services, campus recreation, the health center, counseling and testing, and student organizations.

According to Senior Vice President for Administration and Chief Operating Officer Steve Theodore, Weathersbee is a great choice to lead this division.
