Graduating Seniors Show Artwork

Belton, Texas - Graduating seniors of the art department at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, will celebrate their academic achievements beginning Monday, November 9, with an exhibition of works at the Arla Ray Tyson Art Gallery at the Townsend Memorial Library.

The show is divided into two exhibitions, with the first group showing Monday, November 9 through Friday, November 20. The second group will exhibit from Monday, November 30 through Friday, December 11.

A senior exhibit involves the creation and defense of a substantial body of work. It is required of all students pursuing a bachelor of fine arts.

The first show will exhibit work by Elena Ambercrombie, BFA Studio Arts; Adriana Clonts, BFA Studio Arts; and Susan Moss-McUmber, BFA Studio Arts. The Second show will exhibit the works of Jennifer DeRoeck, BFA Visual Communication; Brodie Reynolds, BFA Visual Communication; and Alexandra Wynne, BFA Art Education.

The Arla Ray Tyson Art Gallery is located in the Townsend Memorial Library on the UMHB campus. The hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Admission to the exhibition is free and open to the public.
