Students Attend Math Conference

Belton, Texas - University of Mary Hardin-Baylor math students recently participated in the Texas Undergraduate Math Conference at Sam Houston State University.

The following students represented UMHB at the Texas Undergraduate Math Conference recently at Sam Houston State University by winning 1st place in the Friday game night activities. They beat out such universities as Southwestern, Lamar, Stephen F. Austin University and UT-Tyler.

The UMHB students involved were Ashli Lawson, Ashley Schaeffer, Vanessa Smith and Helen Wong.

In addition, UMHB student Ashli Lawson presented "Applications of Advanced Calculus to Blood Flow Analysis."
