Ethics Conference

Belton, Texas -The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Social Work Program and Advisory Board will present the annual ethics conference to show appreciation to the local social work community for their support of our students and program. The program will be held at 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 10 in the Lord Conference Center on campus. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. The program is open to the public.

Ellen J. Elliston, Ph.D., LCSW, CDVC with the Parkland Health & Hospital System in Dallas, Texas will present "The Cost of Caring: Ethical Treatment of High Risk Families." This presentation will help prepare participants to meet ethical challenges that arise when working with high risk families.

The conference is made possible through a grant from the Genevieve Mason Enrichment Fund. There is no charge, and continuing education units will be given. For more information, contact the Social Work Department at 295-4555.
