Application Procedures

Students applying for financial aid must complete the following steps:

  1. Process a Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
    This is a needs analysis form that determines the family's ability to contribute to the student's education. The completed form can be filed electronically via the Internet at www.fafsa.ed.gov or mailed in the envelope provided. This form may be obtained online or the UMHB Financial Aid Office.
  2. Submit the following paperwork:
    • UMHB Application for Financial Aid
    • Parent's and/or student's income tax return(s) as requested.
  3. Follow up with the UMHB Financial Aid Office as other forms and documentation may be required from you in order to verify the information you gave us on the Free Application For Federal Student Aid. All correspondence to the Financial Aid Office should be addressed:
