Application Requirements
Steps to Admission for Undergraduate and Graduate Study
Prospective graduate students, please follow the same steps as undergraduate students. We will contact you regarding specific requirements for admission to your chosen graduate program. You may also consult the graduate catalog to determine requirements. Click here to view the Graduate Catalog
Step 1: Submit a completed international application along with the $135 application fee. You may pay the fee by credit card when you submit the application online or you may download an application and mail your fee. Click here for an Application for International Admission.
Step 2: Submit proof of high school graduation. This may be a copy of your diploma or a copy of your high school transcript. Please note that submitted materials should be translated into English.
Step 3: Submit proof of English Proficiency. UMHB does not offer an English language program for international students. If English is not your native language, you must demonstrate proficiency in English. Click here for additional English Proficiency Information.
Step 4: Submit a completed medical report. Click here for a pdf of the Medical Report.
Step 5: Submit a signed statement of understanding. Click here for a pdf of the Statement of Understanding.
Step 6: Once admitted, additional information will be required in order to qualify for the I-20 document. Click here for Accepted Student Requirements.
