The UMHB Police Department has primary responsibility for law enforcement, traffic management and crime prevention for the University. The Police Department employees certified Texas Peace Officers who are on-duty 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Each officer approaches his or her duties as a problem solver. If you encounter any problems while on campus remember we are here to help you!
