Foreign Language Achievement Tests

These exams are intended for those students who are proficient or fluent in the language being tested. Students who pass these exams are still responsible for credit hours even though the foreign language requirement is partially waived (up to 12 hours). These exams are offered in cooperation with other universities. Application forms and proctoring arrangements can be made through the UMHB Counseling & Testing Center. A fee of $15.00 payable to UMHB is required for exam proctoring. Students are responsible to complete the remaining foreign language requirement with the appropriate foreign language course.
