Assistant / Associate Professor
Nursing

• Doctoral or Master's degree in Nursing and current licensure as a Registered Nurse are required. A completed doctoral degree is required for tenure track.
• At least three years of recent clinical experience in Maternal Child Nursing is required, along with teaching experience (preferably in higher education). Primary teaching responsiblilities will be in the baccalaureate nursing program to include:
• Classroom / Didactic instruction in theory / clinical topics
• Clinical / laboratory instruction in a simulated or actual environment.
• Supervision and evaluation of students in classroom and clinical settings.

Faculty Responsibilities: teaching excellence; mentoring / advising students; curriculum development; research; active involvement in professional organizations; service to the department, college, university, and the community.
