Health Services are available free to provide health care and education. Emphasis is given to the whole student--physical, mental, social, emotional and spiritual needs. The goal is to empower individuals with health care knowledge and Christian principles to make informed decisions about health-related issues. The clinic is located in the Frazier Memorial Health Center (SDO), 1101 King Street (next to Gettys and Hardy). The phone number is 254 295-4623; FAX 254 295-4142.
Contact the Campus Police at 5555 or 911. There are two hospital emergency rooms within six miles of the campus. UMHB does NOT have a physician on campus. Please check with your insurance company as to which clinics are "in network" for your health plan. There is usually an 800 number on the back of your health card.
