Basketball Intramurals

Intramural Baseketball is a time to come out and show your hoops-stuff and have a great time.  We offer non-competitive 3-on-3 for men and women, and we also offer Men's Competitive 5-on-5. Below is a brief description of the leagues, and look for online sign-ups to start around the end of November!

• Non-competitive 3v3 is played in two halves with a running clock, shots are worth 1 point from inside the "3-point line" and 2 points from outside the "3-point-line."  Scores are recorded and there will be a playoff for men's and women's leagues! 

• Competitive 5v5 is offered for men only, and score is kept just like in high school and college baseketball.  Fouls are also kept with 5 being the "fouled-out limit."  The game consists of two 20 minute halves, with the clock stopping inside the last 2 minutes of each half.  Scores are also recorded and a playoff will be held resulting in a winner-take-all championship!

The maximum number of people on a roster for 3v3 is 6, and the max number for 5v5 is 10.  If you are playing 5v5, you are not allowed to play 3v3!
