Sign Up to Live On-Campus Again!

Want to live on-campus again next year? Sign up will happen during the Housing Selection Process coming up in March.   If you are a current resident, your RD and RA will be distributing information sheets prior to the process and going over the information.    The process is conducted in Rounds and the Rounds Information Pages will tell you when and where the process will be held and will tell you, along with the Decision Guide when to participate.   These and other links below will help guide you through understanding the process.

The Basic Facts about the Housing Selection Process -  Residents Can:

  • Sign up for one of the traditional residence halls during Round 1 if you are a Continuing Freshman. Round 1 takes place on March 2nd in Shelton Theater, in the Mabee Student Center.
  • Sign up for Beall Hall (now open to males and females) during Round 1 if you are a Sophomore wanting to live with other Sophomores. Round 1 takes place on March 2nd in Shelton Theater in the Mabee Student Center.
  • Sign up for a campus apartment during Round 2 if you are a Senior, Junior, or Sophomore. Round 2 takes place on March 3rd in Shelton Theater in the Mabee Student Center.
  • Sign up for remaining spaces in Beall and the traditional residence halls if you are a Senior, Junior, or Sophomore during Round 3. Round 3 takes place on March 9th in Shelton Theater in the Mabee Student Center.
  • Click on the Rounds Information Pages link to get a detailed schedule for all three Rounds.
  • Designate a Proxy if you are not able to attend the process and make your own selection for housing.  The Proxy Form can be submitted on-line.  Click on the link in the list above.


If this is your first year living on campus, or even if you have participated in this process before, we want to make sure you are familiar with how it works and don't miss out on participating at the appropriate time. The Housing Selection Process Booklet will not be handed out, but is here in a pdf format so that you are able to print your own copy. Please contact the Residence Life Office if you need a text only version.

Your RD and RA will are also available to answer questions. If you need additional help, contact the Residence Life Office at 295-4590.

Students not living in the residence halls for Spring 2009 should inquire at the Residence Life Office (Mabee Student Center, suite 330 (254) 295-4590) for information on how to apply for housing.
