The Mayborn Campus Center was constructed as a multi-purpose facility to provide academic classrooms, training and fitness areas, an indoor swimming pool, faculty, staff and coaches offices, and a 64,000-square-foot special events arena, which includes 2,500 fixed stadium seats with a total seating capacity of 3,200.
The $17 million, 122,500-square-foot sports, special events, and academic center was named for Frank and Sue Mayborn, whose Temple-based charitable foundation helped make the construction possible with the lead gift.
