Welcome Week Theme:
"Crusader Commitment"

Crusader Commitment means that as you start your life at UMHB you will come to love Christ, love community, and love being a Crusader.
Community
UMHB is not just a university, it is people. People just like yourself. A commitment to community means that as a new student you are committed to getting involved. Whether you get involved in Athletics, Student Government, First Year Council, the BSM or any other actives on campus, it is your duty as a Crusader to get involved and stay involved.
Christ
UMHB is committed to Christian higher education. Not everyone is going to the think or believe in the same way as you. So, our commitment to Christ is to each day to try to be more like Him. This means learning about Him, getting involved in a local church, and also reaching out to others by being involved in the UMHB community.
Crusader
Being committed to the Crusaders means being committed to the University as a whole. As a Crusader, you will go to sporting events, play in the quad, develop lifelong relationships, and devote yourself to your classes. During your time at UMHB, you are investing in your future, as well as the future of our University.
