How CBE Works
Here's a breakdown of how competency-based education (CBE) works for you.
We collaborated with industry leaders and faculty members to create Competencies that all students should know when they graduate.
Faculty members from UMHB created assignments and assessments (badges) to measure the Competencies then content (apps) to help people show evidence of knowing the Competencies.
Students transfer in as many courses as possible, sign up for a 6-month term, and work with a Student Success Coach to finish apps and badges until they earn the degree.
You have coaching and you have professors helping you out. You can really do it if you set your mind to it. If it wasn't for the MyWay program, I wouldn't have been able to get my degree and change my family's life. See for yourself and apply today.
