Curriculum Vitae (Résumé)
Dr. Winn is Associate Professor in the UHMB College of Christian Studies. He holds a PhD in New Testament Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary (Pasadena, CA). He is the author of 4 books on the New Testament and numerous academic articles and essays (see CV). His research interests include the Gospel of Mark, the Gospel of Luke, the Roman imperial world and the New Testament, and the Christology of the first century Christian movement. His passion is helping students better understand the New Testament text in light of the world in which it was written. He currently lives in Belton, TX with his wife Molly and daughter Brennan. He is a devout Houston Astros fan and loves all things related to University of Oregon athletics--Go Ducks! Though he is not a Texas native and is originally from the state of Oregon, he got here as fast as he could and he never wants to leave!
