Curriculum Vitae (Résumé)
Dr. Marta Frey-Clark joined the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor faculty as an Assistant Professor of Music Education in the Fall of 2018. Dr. Frey-Clark previously served as a Teaching Fellow at the University of North Texas, where she assisted with music education courses and supervised clinical teachers. Prior to teaching at the collegiate level, Dr. Frey-Clark enjoyed teaching general music and choir at the elementary and middle school levels, teaching in Massachusetts, China, and Texas. Dr. Frey-Clark is dedicated to preparing future music teachers for long and successful careers in the music classroom. Her research interests include sight-reading pedagogy, teacher efficacy, and elective music participation, and her articles have appeared in Update: Applications of Research in Music Education, Journal of Music Teacher Education, and Texas Music Education Research.
