Curriculum Vitae (Résumé)
Dr. Samuel Ivy joined the UMHB Department of Mathematics in the summer of 2019. Before this time, he served as an assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics and as Director for the Center for Leadership & Diversity in STEM for the United States Military Academy at West Point. He received in his undergraduate degree from Morehouse College and his Masters and Doctorate from North Carolina State University.
Dr. Ivy has two children (Jordyn and Samuel). He is originally from Memphis, TN (BBQ capitol of the world...yes I said it...here in Texas!).
