Curriculum Vitae (Résumé)
Dr. Pollard earned her Doctor of Philosophy degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Baylor University in 2018. She also holds a Master of Divinity in Christian Religious Education from Baylor University's George W. Truett Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Howard Payne University. Prior to joining UMHB, Dr. Pollard served as a Teacher of Record in the School of Education at Baylor University while completing her doctoral work and an Adjunct Instructor in the Philosophy department for Central Texas College. Dr. Pollard taught for Killeen Independent School District at Venable Village Elementary School and Maxdale Elementary School, with 3rd grade being her favorite grade to teach.
Dr. Pollard is married to Barrett Pollard, who is the superintendent of Gatesville Independent School District. They have four children: Gabriel (18), Emma (17), Claire (13), and Oliver (10). Gabriel is set to attend UMHB starting in the Fall of 2025. They attend Eastwood Baptist Church in Gatesville, where Barrett is a deacon and Caroline serves as the Minister to Youth & Children. They live on about 60 acres of land and have two dogs, one cat, and one tropical tortoise.
