Dr. Chrisann Hoelscher is a Professor of Marketing and Associate Dean of the McLane College of Business at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. She holds a Ph.D. from Capella University, an MBA with a marketing certificate, and an MS in Business Education from Southern New Hampshire University. Dr. Hoelscher is originally from the Northeast, where she worked for multinational corporations in high technology, including MicroTouch Systems, a 3M company; MediaOne, Inc., acquired by Comcast; and Enterasys Networks. She is married to her husband, Scott, a retired Battalion Fire Chief, and has three sons.
Dr. Hoelscher's contributions to academia include publishing articles and presenting on marketing technologies and the impact of marketing on supply chain resiliency. In 2016, Dr. Hoelscher played a key role in launching MyWay, a competency-based degree program in Organizational Leadership. She also helped introduce an RN-to-BSN program the following year.
Dr. Hoelscher inspires students to pursue careers aligned with their passion for making a difference. She empowers students to discover their calling and contribute positively to the world.
