The exercise physiology major prepares students to pursue dynamic careers in the exercise science and fitness industry. Through their coursework, students develop a greater understanding of human performance from a variety of perspectives: physiological, nutritional, anatomical, kinesiological, and functional. By delving into the science behind exercise physiology, strength and conditioning, wellness, nutrition, and fitness, students learn the foundational principles for a healthy lifestyle and how to share them with others.
