Prerequisite Course Requirements
- If currently enrolled in classes with regular labs that had to go online for the remainder of the spring or summer, we will accept those labs given current circumstances.
- Students given an option of pass/fail at their institution are preferred to decline that option for all prerequisite courses – however, due to the uniqueness of the current circumstances, pass/fail or credit/no credit courses taken this spring or summer will be accepted.
A minimum overall GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale must be earned on the prerequisite courses listed below. In the calculation of prerequisite GPA, repeated course grades are averaged. Grades lower than a "C" will not be accepted.
Science courses must have a lab component and must be courses intended for a science major. Science courses taken at a 4-year university are preferred.
In addition to the required prerequisites, the following courses are recommended:
- Exercise Physiology
- Biomechanics
- Microbiology
