Who is hiring UMHB students?
- Two area districts (Belton ISD and Killeen ISD) have agreed to provide all UMHB teaching candidates with a job interview. Independent school districts across the state are looking for teachers, due to a teacher shortage. Most of our graduates are employed as teachers within a 45 mile radius of UMHB.
Where can I go to grad school?
- The College of Education at UMHB offers master’s in education and doctoral programs in education. Candidates interested in pursuing curriculum development, serving as a campus principal, or attaining a position as a school superintendent have options in the College of Education Graduate School or other programs across Texas.
