Don R. Owens

Don Owens serves as the Director for Career Services, providing administrative and coordination of career development education programs for students and alumni. Mr. Owens assists in career coaching, including skills assessments, world of work exploration, planning, document preparation, practice interviews, and job search methods. Career Services resources available to all students include; Focus 2 career assessments, Exploration/Strategy appointments, Career Guide, Mentor Belton, Candid Careers, NACE Work Ready Competencies, Linked In & Networking Workshops, Resume & Cover Letter reviews, Mock Interviews, Handshake job board, Job Search Academy by In Deed & UMHB, Career Fairs, O Net, What Can I do with this Major, Headshot Studio, and UMHB 4100 Career Planning Course. Career Services is a part of the UMHB Student Life Division and is located on the second floor of the Mabee Student Success Center.
