Kaylee Freerksen

Kaylee Freerksen is an events and public relations professional with experience in higher education, non-profits, and the public sector. Since 2022, she has served as Supervisor of Event Services at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, overseeing staff, student employees, event logistics, venue layouts, and campus compliance, while leading tours and supporting event planning.

Kaylee also manages Physical Plant communications, including website content, social media, and digital messaging, and she developed an internship program providing students with hands-on experience in events and communications.

Previously, she was Director of Events & Digital Sales at the Temple Chamber of Commerce and held roles in communications, marketing, and admissions at UMHB, where she was named SearchCRU’s Tour Guide of the Year in 2018.

She holds a BA in Public Relations and an MS in Management from UMHB, a Cvent Event Diagramming Certification, and has completed professional programs through Dale Carnegie, the Disney Institute, and Glenn Shepard Seminars. Kaylee is an active member of the International Association of Venue Managers (IAVM).
