Before you travel: F-1 visa process
- Receive your Form I-20
- Pay the I-901 SEVIS Fee. Print the receipt and keep a copy
- Apply for your visa
- Confirm your visa details match your passport
Before you travel: preparing to come to UMHB
1. Activate your campus account
Your OneLogin (Single Sign-On account) will give you access to important UMHB services like Sadermail (Student Email), MyDegree (to view your degree plan and progress), and MyCampus (website used to access student schedule, billing statement, FERPA release, submit Cru Card photos, request parking decals, and more).

2. Secure housing (on-campus or off-campus)
Apply for on-campus housing here
3. Register for a New Cru Orientation Date (undergraduate only)
Once you have been accepted to UMHB, use the web link received in an email from UMHB Admissions to select an orientation date and get registered.
4. Register for International Student Orientation (undergraduate and post-graduate)
Once you have been accepted to UMHB, you will receive an email with the link to register for International Student Orientation.
5. Health Requirements for Admission

6. Submit a photo to be used on your UMHB Cru Card (Student ID)
When you travel
Bring the following in your carry-on (not checked luggage):
- Passport
- Visa
- Form I-20 or DS-2019
- SEVIS fee receipt
When you arrive
- Attend International Student Orientation
- Pick up your CruCard
- Submit any remaining documents on your admission checklist to: International Student Services, Sanderford Administration Complex, Suite 1217
