FAQ's and Event Details

Alcohol is strictly prohibited on all University property. Tobacco usage to include, smoking, e-cigarettes and dip, is prohibited inside or within 50 feet of any UMHB-owned building. Users are required to use receptacles when disposing of cigarettes and other tobacco products.

Any food service, catering, or concessions on campus must be coordinated through UMHB’s contracted food service provider, Sodexo. https://umhb.catertrax.com/

Start planning your event as early as possible. Because university facilities primarily support academic and co-curricular activities for students, the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor reserves the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel any event request. Event confirmations will be issued the semester prior.

The facility rental charge varies based on location and the level of campus involvement. Please consult with the event supervisor to see if they apply to your event.

1. Ensure your device's WiFi is on.
2. Select ''CruNet'' from your list of available wireless networks.
3. Once connected, open your web browser. If the browser does not auto-navigate to a log in page, open a new tab.
4. Select "Login as a Guest" at the bottom of the page.
5. Supply required information on the Guest Registration Page.
6. Read and accept the ''Acceptable Use Policy'' terms.
7. Select "Register by E-Mail" or "Register by SMS."
8. Once you receive your PIN, type it into the provided field.
9. If you experience errors connecting, restart your device and try again.

Event organizers will provide information regarding event parking. Please do not park in spaces marked with white lines on the pavement, on adjacent City of Belton Streets, or in areas reserved by signs.

Items prohibited inside campus buildings include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Paint, confetti and glitter
• Color dyed food and drink
• Shaving cream and slime
• Bird seed
• Helium balloons
• Pets, other than service animals
• Candles, open flames, hot plates, or similar appliances
• Attaching temporary signage, posters, decorations, or other items to any wall surface
• Firearms, weapons, ammunition, fireworks, explosives, and highly flammable materials

Current UMHB students, alumni, faculty, staff, and their immediate family members (dependents) are welcome to host wedding ceremonies in Manning Chapel, located in the Meyer Christian Studies Center.

Please note: Outdoor ceremonies and receptions are not permitted on campus.

Scheduling

• During the academic year: Weddings are held on Saturdays, with rehearsals on Friday evenings.

• During university breaks (Winter & Summer): Ceremonies may be scheduled on any day, based on facility and staff availability.

Wedding Fee: $1,600 This includes:

• Use of Meyer Christian Studies Center (Manning Chapel, Lobby and 2 classrooms)
• A required UMHB wedding host
• Housekeeping services before and after your event
• Audio/visual support with a sound technician
