I am Dr. An Nguyen (pronounced “On” and “New-Win”). I am an Assistant Professor in the College of Education, teaching Classroom Technology for undergraduates and Qualitative Research in the doctoral program. Prior to coming to UMHB in 2019, I taught at Tarleton State University as Assistant Professor of Education and Coordinator of Principal Certification. I have a keen interest in assistive technology for children with learning disabilities. Prior to serving in higher education, I served as school principal and classroom teacher in California. My wife and I live in Round Rock with our seven children. Tennis is a favorite pastime of mine, having played competitively on high school, college teams and adult leagues. I am working on getting my schedule together to go out to the tennis courts for some much needed exercise.
